I agree that Soviet union does more to get Japan surrender than the bombings,because Soviet envades soldiers, but bombs kills civilians. A nation can fight with only brave soldiers,but the emperor had his conscience move, when thousands of civilians died in a single bombing. A barbaric act made by USA just to get the recognition to the Victor of the world War. A judgment now being questioned why America kill civilians??? Is America and allied not strong enoung to to stop and kill only Japanese soldiers and it's mighty armada??? Why involve civilians??? Is Japan made any attack on civilians in any place in USA?
